MANAGE YOUR DAY 

 

Most people never get to enjoy a perfect day because they never set the intention to have the perfect day. They never create the perfect day. They think it will just somehow happen. Their day's plan is mostly limited to a calendar of appointments with others not with themselves but with others but in order to have your perfect day you have to become way more intentional about the perfect day. 

You have to script it out. You have to schedule it. In your calendar you have to stick to that schedule and execute the plan and you have to plan it the night before scripting and scheduling of your day the night before is crucial in order to have the perfect day. What you need to do first. You need to identify what all would constitute a perfect day for you. List it all what would you work on, what would you do when you're done working, what kind of things would you enjoy, what  kind of things do you really enjoy and you want to spend time. How much time would you spend on your relationships. 

What would you do in that time. Script it all, identify all the things you want to do in your perfect day even down to the meal you want to have or the places you want to go the places. You want to visit during that time in that day. 

your perfect day set the start time set the end time not only for the day but also for all your tasks and set a deadline for your work, very clear boundaries what time will you start and what time will you end. 

You will see a scripted day is the best day you can ever have because a scripted day is the most enjoyable day. It's the most intentional day and the more scripted days you can have which are the perfect days. That's how you live a great life. A lot of people might be thinking my perfect day I would just wake up and have no responsibilities and have nothing to do. I just want freedom but here's the paradox. Structure is what leads to freedom. Structure is essential for freedom. Discipline and freedom are not mutually exclusive but mutually dependent because otherwise you'd sink into chaos. 

Structure leads to freedom that's why structure of anything will make you free within that thing if you structure your time you'll be free within that time to do the thing. So it's important to have structure in order to have freedom for as long as you run away from structure, you can never have freedom. 

This is really important to understand for as long as you run away from structure, you will never have freedom. Your freedom is all yours and structure comes from rules. Rules help because they reduce the temptation. They ease your decision making and they help you conserve your willpower. So adding more structure will help you not only live a greater life but it will help you accomplish your goals faster and live a more enjoyable life. 

One of the most important things you need to do in order to create structure is, you need to turn off work at a certain time every day in order to be able to enjoy your off time completely at the end of the work day. Write down everything in your head and start planning your next day and that's when now you can turn off and relax. 

You see most people fail to execute the perfect day because they can't keep their work boundaries intact. Work never ends, work keeps going on. So most people can't keep solid work boundaries because they don't work in solid focused chunks of time. They split their attention and focus during the time. They work they're all over the place. They're doing work, they're checking emails, they're doing work, they're checking social media, they're doing work, they're checking stats, they're not strict with their deadlines. There is no accountability even if they don't keep their boundaries.While working they're spreading their attention all over the place and that's why they can never have a perfect day. So if you want to have a perfect day it all starts with having the perfect blocks of time for your work. 

Everyone can feel the joy of working in focused chunks of time and accomplishing more in six hours than they used to accomplish in 16 hours and not only that so that they can truly enjoy life. They have clear boundaries between work and play. They have clear boundaries between work and enjoyment and they can enjoy their life.

How many of us know exactly what we should be doing to achieve our goals but for some reason just don't end up doing those things.

We have great ideas but we get stuck in procrastination overwhelm and analysis paralysis which leads to a lot of wasted time every single day. We feel scattered disorganized and all over the place we

lack structure and accountability and have trouble following  through on what we say we are going to do and this pattern repeats itself every day, day in and day out.
